Farr Vinters, leading suppliers of fine wines, moved into this warehouse building in Battersea to allow all their staff to share a single space as well as create an appropriate reception and specially designed tasting room for clients.
The tasting room was designed in collaboration with the installation artist, Rob Ollins. The design starts from the idea of wrapping around a tasting table and was carefully designed to allow the display and celebration of wine.
The main working space used the themes of 'earthy' surfaces to the shell; a natural wood finish, a plywood ceiling and an industrial aesthetic for the furniture which was also designed by Potter + Holmes.
