Potter &SW Holmes are seeking planning permission to extend the existing undercroft of a Grade II Listed Georgian Building, providing Parkgate House School, in Clapham with a new school hall.
The scheme has been sensitively designed to respect and provide:
- The existing curtilage of the Listed Building
- An improved rear playground for the under fives
- New landscaping
- More open space designed for children to exercise, dance and play
- Adaptability and sustainability for the building as a whole
The internal space will be articulated with natural daylight brought in through sunpipes and pavement lights incorporated into the landscaped surface at ground level.
